Who knew that elves like to surf? Gimli is going to have a hard time keeping with Legolas in this scene from Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers."

About this creation

A small Lord of the Rings scene that I whipped up for the LotR contest over on LEGO.com; it's now a (Battle category) entry for the fun LotR contest group that is featured at this link. The shot depicts Legolas' famous shield-slide down the stairs at Helm's Deep as he competes with Gimli over who can defeat the most Uruk-Hai. My sister, Grace, provided the special lighting effects (thank you Grace!) which help transform this simple model into the iconic shot from the movie.

Looks very big and the stairs are great. You should have added some more details though in my opinion. 7/10 for the contest.

Awesome Cole! Great scene turned into Legos what could be better than that! Hope your light machine gun turns out great, cant wait to see it. I recently added a new creation if you want to check it out. Awesome model!
