"The Lightning-Struck Tower"
One of my favourite scenes from both the Harry Potter books and films... The death of Dumbledore. This is the 6th moc in my series of Harry Potter mocs showing an iconic scene from each of the 7 books (and 8 films). Please comment, rate and enjoy!
About this creation

Here we can see the whole moc of the Astronomy Tower at Hogwarts with Dumbledore being killed by Professor Snape while Draco Malfoy watches on.

Snape casts the killing curse and Dumbledore flies backwards.

Malfoy watches on in shock.

The astronomy globe-thing as shown in the film version of the scene with Malfoy watching through it.

Zoomed out slightly.

The door to the tower.

Another view showing the case against the wall. This moc was also my first attempt at curved walls!

Another angle.

Malfoy's view.

The other side of the tower.

From above.

Top view showing the beams inside the tower roof.

The outside of the tower.

The other side of the tower.

The beams in the roof. Unfortunately I couldn't make the roof itself.

The side of the tower.

Dumbledore flying backwards. Slightly blurry, sorry about that.

The killing curse hitting Dumbledore.

The door and the globe-thing.

The end of Dumbledore.

"Snape raised his wand and pointed it directly at Dumbledore.
'Avada Kedavra!'
A jet of green light shot from the end of Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore squarely in the chest. Harry... was forced to watch as Dumbledore was blasted into the air: for a split second he seemed to hang suspended... and then he fell slowly backwards, like a great rag doll, over the battlements and out of sight."

Great MOC! I love your curved walls, as well as the realistic design for the Killing Curse spell.

Quoting Seth Bryan Very nice.. My favorite part is the globe. I've always wondered how that might be done. And.. Here it is.
Haha. Yeah, I was wondering how to make it and then spotted the old Quidditch hoops in my tub and... bingo! --Blast--

Nice. Great to see more HP mocs still popping up. I'll try to post my latest one, and maybe whip up a new one. I especially like the armillary sphere (the globe-thingy).

Nice work, it's great to see more HP MOCs 'round here. I really like the tower and sphere thing, the sphere's especially recognizable.
