Griffin:...The spider is called Ignavous Avis, its a very rare radioactive spider, I found this a year ago, its pretty much a Covenant pet.
Slash: Cool, after the apocalypse were you planning to study it?
Griffin: If I lived during it? Yes, and apparently I DID live.
Griffin and Slash look out the glass to see a person standing in the snow.
Slash: Looks like another uninvited guest.
Griffin: Yeah, I'll take care of it.
Griffin: Alright, your not authorized to be in this territory, who are yo-Wait a minute, what the heck are you?
The zombie looks up from his beheaded victim, aiming for Griffin.
The zombie tries running at him, while Griffin variously shoots at the infected human.
He finally killed the zombie after several shots.
Griffin: I have to tell Slash about this.
Griffin cut the zombie open, and took a sample of its blood.
Slash: Jones, I'm getting a call from Alta 5, the Science Research Station.
Bob Jones: Why?
Slash: Its a distress call...I'll put it on speaker.
Scientist: *static* Help! *static* Infection, *static* An experiment had *static* gone wrong *static* Come before its to *static* late! AGH!!!!!!! -Statics out-
Slash: This ain't good...if we're going to rescue scientists from Alta 5, then...we're gonna have to get The Resistance back...

The scientists found the flood in space, and put it into a container. It was just a tiny sample, but while experimenting, The Flood broke out and infected scientists. I should've explained it, but I will in episode 1. I'm not gonna take up my time making The Flood, so I'm using regular zombies. |
