Hey everyone!
I know, I havn't posted for some time but that is because I have been very busy building some new cars! This is one of three rods I've built recently but the other two will not be posted for some time because I'm waiting for some chrome pieces to arrive, so here is my '28 Ford Pick-up "Rat Rod"! I built this using pieces I had left over from my two other rods! Anyway, it's black with red interior and wooden floor, working steering, opening doors, Ford Flathead V8 which is grey (no chrome on this rat rod!), exposed wood beams in the chopped roof, detailed chassis, no tray/bed, red fuel cell, same size rims and more! IMO the best part is the roof, those exposed wood beams look cool and I havn't seen them on any other rod so far! I hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I did building it and I hope to have my two new rods posted in a couple of weeks! Thanks and enjoy!

very nicely done! it would be cool if you could make group shots sometimes, you know, for size comparisons, 2 rods side by side, you have great cars, why not enjoy it, as for jealousy, it s too late for that, I ve seen your cars...lol!
Hey CyberFrank2010, thank you for all your wonderful comments! When I finish and upload my next rod I'll take a comparison photo with my last two rods( the '31 Ford Model-A and the '55 Ford F100). Thanks again mate! |

Wow, that's great, I love the smooth styling! The engine and the interior look cool, too. My favourite detail is the front axle with steering. Great job! :-)) |

Cool one! I agree, this top showing wood parts is something totally new! : ) Otherwise I like the idea of no truck-bed for the rear (on a Lego Rod, i mean) but it don't "fit" to the shape of a 3 window... With a 5 windows Deuce, the shape could be better* I think (* more level-headed/equitable)
4/5 anyway ; ) |

Aiden, love it! You captured the essence of a "bad ride" with a minimalistic concept, and a great smooth build! Z |

Sweet ride. Love the detailing, it makes me wish that LEGO made flat colored bricks for these kinds of projects! |

Very neat and tidy Hot Rod, I like the roof and the engine details. The steering looks good too. You may want to fix that reflection underneath it though. |

Like it a lot. As MortalS says below; a very clean build - nothing fancy or unrealistic, just a very high quality smooth Rod. Nice colour accents to break up the black too. 5 stars |
