About this creation
(Immediately following Chapter 7)
(Vince Yond'Ull raced through the ruins of the city planet of Taris. His entire squad killed by the Sith Lord Count Dooku, he ran on desperate to warn the rest of the Republic force before the Separatist army could attack)
(Finally making it to the Republic base camp in the ruins of the former Sith Base Master Gulio Marcus and Republic Intelligence Agent Major Kalin rushed out to him)
Vince- Master...the Separatists...killed my squad...Count Dooku is here!
Gulio- Woah, slow down Vince, it's alright we already know about Dooku.
(Surprised Vince looked at the Jedi Master)
Vince- What? How?
Kalin- For the past few weeks Republic Intelligence has been trying to discover the source of experimental Separatist droids. We managed to decipher a coded message saying they were building a factory on Taris, it was only after you came that we discovered it was a fake.
Gulio- Shortly after you left Kalin and his men arrived to warn us but their ship was shot down by the separatist fleet Kalin and Agent Ben are the only survivors.
Vince- Then what? Are we stranded here?
Kalin- Not quite. Come with me.
(The group walked through the ruinous base, arriving at an ancient computer being worked on by Agent Ben)
Kalin- Ben! What progress have you made?
Ben- Well sir, considering this computer is over 4,000 years old, I'm surprised it even works! It'll take hours to get it running in even minimal shape!
Kalin- So you can get it fixed?
Ben- Well, yes...
Gulio- Then we will get you that time. Contacting the Republic Fleet is the only chance we have of escaping Taris alive, and I don't think the Separatists are taking prisoners.
(Gulio gathered the remaining clones)
Gulio- Alright men, here's the plan. Agent Ben is working on contacting the Republic Fleet to evacuate us but he needs time, we have to make sure he gets that time and fight off the droid army until the fleet arrives. Anyone who would like to take their chances with the Separatists speak up now.
(The clones were silent)
Gulio- Good. We're out numbered so we won't be able to fight them head to head. Vince and myself will engage the droids and lure them into the base where Captain Wire and yourselves will blast them to pieces. Hopefully by that time the fleet will have arrived. Questions? Good, then let's move out!
(Vince and Gulio stood on the main walkway, the thundering of the droid army growing steadily closer)
Vince- It's so quiet master. Almost peaceful.
Gulio- That's is the calm before the storm apprentice. I have felt it many times, use it o to center yourself before battle. Here they come!
(The droid army coming into view Gulio leaped forward slicing into the advanced droids)
(Summoning the Force, Vince hurtled a jagged piece of metal into the droid ranks)
(Undeterred the droids opened fire, the Jedi skillfully deflecting the blasts)
Gulio- This fight is too much for us! Back to the base!
(Gulio and Vince ran off to the trap they had set, the droid army following behind)
(Meanwhile Count Dooku watched from a distance as the Jedi fled)
OOM Battle Droid- Sir, the Jedi appear to be retreating to the ruins of the Sith Base.
Dooku- Good, send in the troops and wipe them out, and prepare to unleash Stage 2.
Captain Wire- On my mark....Fire! Open Fire!
(The clones unleashed a barrage of laser fire on the droid army, decimating their ranks)
(The Jedi then leaped out of their cover, finishing off the remaining droids)
Clone- Ha! Take that clankers!
Vince- Was that supposed to be so easy?
Gulio- Don't get too excited, this battle isn't over yet.
(Interrupting the clones brief moment of rest, a black droid resembling a giant droideka lumbered into the base)
Clone- What is that thing!?
Wire- Take cover! Everyone down!
(The massive droid opened fire, blasting the clones. A single clone managed to fire off a shot at the droid, only doing superficial damage)
(Kalin watched as carnage unfolded)
Kalin- Ben, tell me you're almost done.
Ben- Reroute the circuit and... got it! Message away! Rep. Fleet should be here in no time!
(Jumping out of cover, Vince slashed his blade across the droid his saber not even scratching it)
Vince- What kind of droid is this?
(The droid lumbered around firing at Vince)
(As the form of a Republic shuttle flew into view, Vince threw his lightsaber back slicing through the metal above the droid)
(The metal came crashing down onto the droid even as another lumbered into view)
Gulio- Come on! Everyone onto the ship!
(The Intelligence agents already aboard, the Jedi and Captain Wire rushed up the ramp, as the shuttle quickly took off heading for the rest of the fleet)
(Meanwhile Dooku watched with satisfaction as the Republic forces flew out of sight)
OOM Battle Droid- They got away sir.
Dooku- Indeed, but our experiment was a success. Summon my shuttle and contact Dr. Rastem. Tell him to proceed with full implementation of Stage 2. Soon the Republic will feel the full wrath of the Dark Side, and we shall have our victory...

Even though you are dealing with my least favorite part of Star Wars (the clone wars because the show kind of ruined it for me) you still do a great job with the storytelling and Im looking forward to the next one! - J. |

Another brilliant chapter Varkov! All of your characters are brilliant and I like the series of new battle droids. It'll be interesting to see what Dooku has planned, keep it up! |
