The video

Building tractors is something I always like, but now I added a complex implement: a grass feeder. This is used to mix and detach the feed, before giving it to the cattle. This is my second attempt, and I think it's an improvement..

Of course, the whole moc is remote controlled, not quite visible, is it?

This photo shows how big the MOC actually is. The tractor had the heavy task to pull the grass feeder. The whole combination measures over 50 cm.

The grass feeder first pushes the food backwards, then sidewards, and it comes out at the end of the MOC. This is to prevent that the wheels of the feeder drive over the food after having spit it out.

This images shows a lot of details. Firstly, it shows the position of the battery box. It is, in contrast with my former tractors, not put upright but horizontal, to make the cabin's shapes nicer. Secondly, you see the two electrical wires of the two M-motors, located in the front of the feeder. All recievers are in the tractor, so all wires have to go to the tractor. Thirdly, you see the PTO (the U-joint at the middle) and the towball hitch. The towball is a simple towball pin, the hitch is a suspension arm! This is something very special, because, in order to use the towball hitch (for easy adapting to terrain's surface), the PTO axle has to slide! The new CV joint was me very helpful. Fourthly, you see the manual parking jack, also showed in the video. And last but not least, you see the three-point linkage system, manually actuated by two miniLA's.

In the space showed in this image, 2 M-motors are located. They drive the main belt and the mixing application. The m-motor above drives the mixing application (image below). This one mixes the food, before it will be 'spit out'.

This is the most important point of the feeder: the exit. It is a wide hole (5x5 studs) to have a high feeding speed. With small lego 'grass'(=1x1 bricks), this speed will be reached.

The tractor

While opening the bonnet, the inside is revealed. In there are the steering M-motor and the 4-inline fake motor located.

Because I added no 4WD, the steering angle could be very large. Unfortunately, no mudguards could be added, because the would 'meet' the bonnet. Watch the video for more details.

The headlights are adjustable: they can be pushed 85 degrees to both sides.

Also the mirrors are adjustable. I like details...

Because I added no 4WD and the tractor had to pull a heavy heavy vehicle, the rear axle had to be very rigid. It never slipped. Building instructions of this rear axle are available, click the link below.

The driveline is very simple, to prevent slipping, to get torque instead of speed. The video will reveal everything! Please, when you use my building instructions, comment. Happy building!

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Wow this is a very accomplished build. It could easily be an official set looks fantastic and is packed with features. Very impressive stuff. The shape reminds me of a Massey Ferguson.
You know, I always like MF-like tractors.. Thank you.
