Nova and Bombardier are proud to announce an order for 25 CS300 to replace Super Nova and Nova Airlines' fleet of A318s. A model of the aircraft has been built at Maxim International Airport to show off the aircraft.
About this creation
Recently I faced a problem. We are living through a period of change in aviation, with new aircraft designs being announced faster than it took for Concorde to fly from New York to Paris. With aircraft like the C-Series and the 787 Dreamliner flying off the assembly lines, the future design of aircrafts became apparent. Sadly, it also became apparent that these new designs would be extremely difficult to create out of lego. The nose section of an aircraft is (In my opinion) the hardest part of a lego aircraft to create, and the nose designs for C-Series/787 is one that is almost impossible to make out of lego, especially at the scale I make my aircrafts. Luckily at a narrow body scale, both Airbus and Boeing decided last year to give a little more life to the 737/320 lines, which have a more conventional nose that I manage pretty well out of lego. This meant that for a few more years I could rely on the 737s and A320s to feed Nova's fleet. However, I couldn't push back the problem for ever. With extra parts, I decided to focus on the C-series, as a prototype for new nose sections, and after a while got a result I liked a lot, so here it is, feel free to comment on it, this is not a final creation, and work might still be needed on it.
