This is my working model of an Uzi. It has a foldable stock and actually works. Most of this was made from Jack Streat's AKS-74u. I made that, then changed into this uzi. After about 3 weeks of hard work, I came out with this result. I made the trigger in front of the magazine instead of behind and I made it slightly more powerful than Jack Streat's. I'm not saying his design was not good, I'm just saying that the ramp from the mag to the barrel was too short, making the bullet catch on the underside which caused too much friction, therefore, making it less powerful. But I still think that Jack Streat was a genius. It shoots pretty far and looks pretty realistic for a working model.
About this creation
The Sight is actually pretty accurate.
The Trigger Mechanism was one of the hardest parts of this gun. Originally the trigger was behind the mag, but I had to place it in front of the mag. Now this looks simple and easy, but it was actually really hard. Because there was no room inside the gun for it, I had to put it outside the gun. It still looks pretty decent.
