Well let's get back to my project i've started...a Blacktron II ship.
About this creation
after all your nice comments on the first WIP #1 i decided to do this klingonstyle-curved wings... But how to connect this all together??? Hmmm... I started with some nice playing arrounds - engines :-) !!!
And also here i wanted to try something new for me... Two engines should'nt be in a straight line...So i built this strange "holdingsystem".
Now you can see the grid started and the engines attached. Where the red lines mark the different angles.
And so i got it - a little angle between two engines
And yes i know! - my sceleton is crazy... but i have no plan to give it more structure. I'm crazy in the head and so is my sceleton... ;-)
I hope to finish this one soon - other projects are growing in my head...

The thing with Lego is that it is often harder to pull off the subtle angles rather than the extreme ones. I always like to see the workings of a MOC too.
thank you first David! yes these subtle angles are really headscratching things... i tryed many solutions for that engines - but this seemd to be the strongest. and i don't like it if such a big part is only connected with 1 or 2 studs...
