Small Cube Puzzle

The cube put together. Much harder than it appears, for pics I took it apart then had to spend 20 minutes putting the thing back together!
About this creation
I'd seen different sorts of puzzles other people had done out of lego online before, and my science teacher had a few of these at the front of the room the other day...I thought it would be a cool exercise of the "5 plates = 2 studs" technique. I was thinking it might also be cool to make each 'part' a different colour to show them clearly.

I decided to go ahead and make the cube in multicolour as well, it's identical only with different colours instead...If it had more parts to the puzzle I could have had more colours as colours such as yellow and black are not used.



Enlarge image 		   Taken apart to show each piece...each 'finger' is 5 plates (1 brick, 1 plate and a tile) high and 2 studs wide. This results in a 6 stud sided cube.

Enlarge image 		   One good thing about colours is the fact that it makes it so you can take better pictures...you can see how the pieces fit together.

I believe the technical name for one of these babies is a Soma Cube. I built a black-and-white checkered one on the 'Pages not too long ago either. Good day
