The 8th TDU2 creation from me. I am back with the Solar Crown Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. I had made an SLS AMG Gullwing on LDD, so I imported that on free build, then cloned some of the parts from that, then built on. This is also the first 4-wide 300SL Gullwing on MOCpages! About this creation

The front wasn't that hard to do. I was also trying to figure out a way of having the Mercedes logo on it. So after I added the 1X4 tiles over the wheels, I then connected the front to that.

The side. It is low because I cloned that from my SLS.

The rear. Not hard at all. The starting point was putting a 2X2 tile on the end of the axel, then putting 1 1X4 so I could connect the lights.

Rear side. The roof is a 2X2 tile because of the working "Gullwing" doors.

Putting the badge on meant curving for the hood. So I used a holed stud, otherwise I would of had to use a 1X2 tile, which wold be bad.

Just to prove it.

The Gullwing doors! With my SLS, I didn't add an interior, but I figured out a way to have one without the roof having to "float".

The interior. I had a look on YouTube to actually find what colour the interior was, so then I found that it was beige. I'll also be giving credit to Starscream Soundwave for the steering wheel tecnique.

A shot of the underneath. I used the tecnique where the sides aren't poking out, so the side is all smooth, except for when you have the doors open obviously.=)

Well there is the Solar Crown Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. I tried hard on this to get the accuracy correct.
