Goa'uld Death Glider
About this creation
Nearly a year after the Wraith Hive Ship , I bring you that what Col. O'Neill referred to as "Death Glider".

The Goa'uld standard assault vessel:

Fourth Age Commentary:
I wanted to do this since a long time now, but never found the patience and the techniques to realise it that way I wanted it - until now.
Achieving the shape on the wings and (as I later found out) the main body, canopy too, was pretty difficult and cost the most time of building.
I needed about four days to complete it.

The reference for those, who aren't familiar with the Stargate franchise:
Death Glider

Well, onto my other projects!

I loved this when I first saw it, but to see it in person was a treat. The wings especially are a sight to behold. A pleasure to meet you as well, Kevin. Nice work!

I love this creation. The design is smooth, in both color and shape, alien-looking, albeit like the alien fighters from Independence day. I love some of the little designs you did here, with the cockpit and tips of the wings. This is great. I raise my crabby claw-hand in a thumbs up to this.

Quoting Wesley Kreiss So radical. Really nice to see a MOC made using the Sand Blue color (one of my favs). @ big thumbs up on the wing detail and the shape is awesome! Looks like the real deal!
There is actually no sand blue in it - just dark bluish gray ;-)

You nailed it! I love the show, and I love the craft, and your version of the craft is astounding! You captured the shape perfectly. And the gun tubes are just cool! I hope you do a version of the human goaul hybrid craft. That canopy, and the way it matches up with the wings is really well done. Attack!

Here's yet another example of why I just love your models -- attention to detail, using precisely the right part to achieve an effect, and (in the case of your space ships) somehow coaxing a sense of speed and movement out of a stationary model. You, sir, don't build with Lego; you bend Lego to your will! I've never seen the show, so I have no frame of reference, but this is a real beast!

Quoting Peter Mowry Wow this is amazing!!! Truly a work of art, I've always been a fan of your work. How you were able to get all the angles of the death glider is Epic to say the least. Star Gate is probably my favorite Scifi show and you nailed it my friend!!! Nicely done! Keep up the good work!
Thanks man! Be sure, I have my next Stargate project in planning ;-)

Quoting Andre Benjamin Can't believe all the detail you put into those wings; love them! At first glance, I thought that cockpit was the piece from the General Grievous starfighter kit... I was amazed to see that they were brick-built! Great work!
Thanks! - Indeed, I considered using this windscreen, but then I recognized that it doesn't fit by shape and size to the rest of the glider (cause I already built the wings of it).

A wonderfully detailed MOC, with loads of different techniques to spot and learn from. I like the solid canopy, plus the shape of the wings. I followed the link to the Stargate website and I think that your MOC looks far more menacing than the CGI on the TV programme!
