Love the Classic Space creation! This set seems to have a lot of playability, it will fit in great with a larger Classic Space base.

Wow, that's great and so classic space! I love the "snake" vehicle, but I'd like to see it with the "ballon tires", too. And some vintage red wheels would add an extra touch to the smaller vehicle. The rest is awesome, it looks very playable, too. Great job! :-))

Quoting Tim C Very cool. I think this your best land-bound vehicles yet. I love that segmented vehicle, especially the front end. The assymetrical design really adds character to it. The other is very well done, too. Nice choice on the wheels there. Makes it look like a Mars rover. I love it when you use all those old pieces. For one thing, on an aesthetic basis, it gives your equipment a weathered look that is so appropriate for the purpose you've assigned them. For the other...pure nostalgia. The piece that acts as the hinge for the back end of the segmented vehicle is so old! I had one until my daughter broke it, and I don't think you can find it any of today's sets. Great job, David.
Thanks Tim. I'm always touched by the time you take over your comments, not just on my MOCs but on every comment I see you make. It's people like you who make MOCpages fun to be a part of. Thanks again for your support.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Brilliant builds full of detail and innovative parts usage. Loving the double detector guy and the black robot with the long face :D
He was meant to be a sort of Easter Island bot - glad you like him.

Quoting Michael Rutherford Good balance between innovative design and that Classic Space feel. I'm really digging that narrow upright cab on the first vehicle. Attack!
Glad the CS style still shines through.

Quoting Jasro 8 Classic space with a twist, that is great. I also love the teethmarks on some of your Lego pieces, reminds me of my own. Woud you agree that old Lego is stiffer and harder than new Lego pieces? I wonder way that is. Some of my old Lego has gotten brittle over the years...anyway that is a fun build.
Never noticed it but now you mention it it does seem stiffer. Those teeth marks are the result of me and my brothers' many hours of play before the invention of Lego seperators. Wear your scars with pride.

Quoting David Roberts The grey, groovy grader is great! I also really like the two robots and the chap with double, turbo charged metal detectors. Another of your MOCs that easily could have been a set in the 80's: it all looks just right.
I'm feeling very nostalgic at the moment, hence the glut of CS homages coming out from me. The double detector was a whim I couldn't resist.
