About this creation
Here's the Halo Spartan, Noble 6. Many of you got to see him at Brickfair. I finally got around to taking pictures of him.
I promised long ago to build a Spartan. I've tried many times but failed miserably each time. Since then, every model I've made had the purpose of practicing new techniques to use for the Spartan. This has taken me way too long to build. This is part of a larger Vignette that I have planned out, but haven't made yet. I'm taking it very slowly and making sure each part is the highest quality I can muster.
There are still a few placeholder parts that I need to remake. But I'm saving that for later.
The skeleton of this guy was specially built to have a wide range of motion. It's really hard to show that in the photos. It was hard to balance in some of the more exaggerated poses that show this flexibility, so I couldn't do them.
After all the posing I realize that I still need to work a good deal on him.
I always have a long insightful speech I want to write in these descriptions while building, but never remember it when the time to write comes. Maybe later.

I would tell you just how amazingly awesome this guy is, but I assume you already know that. However, I feel that the back of him could be greatly improved. While from the front he is one hundred ways of epic, from the back... well, it just doesn't match the front. Otherwise, excellent job and I really look forward to a version 2 and a dio!

Hello, again, Mike. I love this build. I keep coming back to get another look. There are very few MOCs on this site that I can find that has such perfect parts usage. I would like to feature this on the Pick of the Week portion of my page some time in the future. Would I have your permission for that?
Sure. |

Also. Again, i apologize if you feel like i am spamming, im just so amazed by this, but um, How big is it? like. Is it bigger then your hand? its hard to tell just by looking at it.. :L...
It's about a foot tall.
Related to your deleted comment, I don't use non-Lego materials in my work. I also, don't paint, glue, or heavily modify my pieces. I can build shoulder pads out of Lego, but I don't want to. Any change I make to him will be very specific and in preparation of a future project. |

Nice build but I must sadly admit though your shaping is excellent there a few empty bit's if you're making a V2 please fill in the gaps.
Those empty bits are necessary for the range of motion and strength. If I cover them somehow, I'll jeopardize the integrity of detailed areas. |

Wow. ive never seen something so incredibly amazing, just astonishing. Now let me put my halo knowledge into use. Epic creator please tell me if the following armor counfiguration is correct that i am guessing the spartans armor is:
Helmet: MJOLNIR Mk. V Variants, No attatchment.
Chest: None.
Knee guards: GUNGNIR
Wrist: None
Utility: None
Left shoulder: None
Right shoulder: None
Visor color: Gold
Please let me know if that armor combo is correct, if anyone else thinks im right please give an opinion x3. Lol sorry, im just such a halo freak. Wanted to see if my know how about the game is good enough to determine what armor combo this is ^_^. Anyways epic job, you should try building him a weapon :)
I believe you are correct. I used the most basic armor composition because I felt it was the most distinguishable as Halo, even to the non-fanbase. I'm not finished with this model. It will have a gun. |

Absolutely fantastic. As with all your builds the part usage is exceptional and very creative. I feel your pain regarding posing and photographing action figures like this, it can be very frustrating and you always notice something that can be improved. This however looks perfect, and you have created some dynamic poses. |
