I built this to try out the SNOT technique.
About this creation
This was my first attempt at using SNOT. I don't think it turned out that bad. I've always thought the look of building water using SNOT and building the land around it not using SNOT looks interesting so that's what I decided to do. This probably only took me about an hour to build and that's because my LEGO pieces aren't sorted so it takes awhile to find certain pieces. I do plan to sort them eventually.

Not bad for a first attempt. With such a small space, it would be rather difficult to get a lot detail into it especially with SNOT. I would suggest you have the front of the bricks facing outward and not the other way around, so that the bottom aren't exposed. Then you could put some tiles on them. It would look better. Just some advice. -LB Senior

The MOC could be improved by making the beach more unique, and adding windows to the house. Good MOC, I remember my first try at snot... *shudder*
