I leave for college this Saturday, so my MOC updates will become even more infrequent.
With the hype about Curiosity, I felt it would be fun to build a space MOC that does not revolve around blasting extraterrestrial beings; rather one that deals with a science expedition to a foreign planet.
This little rover has all the neccessities to gather geological data for research. It is based on "7648 Mobil Mining Unit" from the Mars Mission theme.
The life support system means that the rover has enough oxygen to last 48 hours before it must return to base.
In tow is a huge radar dish for broadcasting signals to the mothership, which is in constant orbit of the planet.
Behold this strange green crystal growth! Better take a sample back to the lab.
Well folks, I will not have time to build anything while I am at school. It's been a fun 5 years on MOCpages, lots of good times, and I hope when I am out I'll be able to MOC with you gentlemen again.
I'll try to post some of my older, lesser known creations while I'm away from my bricks.
I love Mars Mission set design and zour creation resembles the set well. I would saz it is verz original (being a pacifist creation), but there are a lot of curiosities and their likes around atn the moment. It is still good to see people build it, though. Good work, it looks great.
