Playing around with basic HF builds to pass some time and vent some stress. Today is Sorting Day, then I'll start a larger project.
About this creation
Damyen
Damyen is a simple Villain build. He's evil-looking to the right degree and extremely playable. It was a pleasure to build him. Plus I had to use that Magenta somewhere.
Should I put in some bios? I don't know, I didn't really think about it...
Ok, here goes:
Damyen is the mutated form of a former Hero called Damian. Fighting some villains he fell in a barrel of toxic waste and oh god this is sounding stupider by the second.
Long story short, he's all Evil now.
As they say, "Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you, and you may fall in it, and it may also contain toxic waste" - Nietzsche, I think.
Sharp
Sharp is Damyen's right-hand man. He's shrewd (some may call him sharp), strong and covered in blades.
Since I built him I've been trying to use his head/chestplate combo as a cockpit, because it can open and I'd love to stick a minifig in there. It can be done, but it takes a lot more space than a humanoid mech can spare.
Dull
Dull is Damyen's left-hand man, he's... well, you can see where I'm going here, so there's no point.
Geez, I don't even know why I built this guy. It's nothing I haven't seen many times over. A standard bulky build in silver plates. Well, it helped me pass the time.
BlackThorn
I wanted to make a good guy, adn here it is. I used the BlackTron II colors for him.
BT has a Plasma Gun on his back.
He uses it to fire Plasma Bolts at his enemies (YOU DON'T SAY).

Here's when I started to lose it and play dolly with Damyen.
I really liked the fancy gem coating, I also gave him feet.

Red Blades
Ok, I'm back with you. This was made with all those red fins/fangs/fooms that come from HF sets in relentless waves. Seriously, you'd think this part came cheaper than any other, so they stick it wherever they can to boost part count...
Silver Blades
Chef Tony would be so happy!
And now he's had enough, and he's slithering away... how about you?

I usually do these posts in order to decide what colors/design to use for my BioMechs, but this time I was just bored.

Yuri your tinkering mocs look 1,000 times better than the TLG Hero Factory sets. If only you worked for Lego...PS I LOVER the Damyen guy, so awesome!! |
