My entry to the LotR contest over on LEGO.com. I chose to build the Forbidden Pool because, to the extent of my knowledge, there is only one other representation of it on MOCpages. I thought it would be a nice little challenge :)

Nice little scene you have here. I really like the trans light blue for water.. Good job with all the plants. Gives it a great organic feel. |

Woah! Very nice. The shape of the pool is great. I can't imagine how this would look with a waterfall. Too bad you ran out of bricks. You have a chance at the contest. Maybe I will put out a entry to even the playing field. |

It seems It's getting less and less likely to get one of the first prizes on the challenge, Awesome representation!
I'm still praying for one of the first prizes! To be honest, I have no interest in winning the grand prize. |

Excellent work, good luck in the contest! The landscaping's superb, one of your best creations.
Thanks for the comment! It took a lot of thinking and testing to get the landscape exactly how I wanted it. I'm still not completely satisfied with it. I feel like there's something missing. Any ideas? |

I like that water! The whole landscape is very nice. Also, great choice for a scene to recreate.
Thanks for the comment! As I said in the description, I chose this scene because of how few LEGO representations there were of it. I had actually hoped to make it larger and complete the waterfall but, with a lack of time and trans 1x2 plates, I was unable to make that dream a reality. I might keep this build for a while and see if I can get some more pieces and complete the waterfall though... |

Wow, You're getting so much better! I was gonna build a Mt.Doom, but now I'm not sure if it's worth the effort... I think I will! Good Luck! God Bless ~ David.
Good luck if you manage to get up an entry! |
