Expanded Grand Emporium - Godwin's Hollow
For the longest time there has been an undeveloped lot behind the Grand Emporium. For a while it looked like an apartment building was going in there but unfortunately the developer's financing never materialized so the GE decided to grab the lot and expand. The ground floor now holds apparel as well as a new boutique grocery store. The second floor is now home to home furnishings, electronics, and computers. The top floor is now dedicated to toys, a new arcade, and candy shop. Feel free to drop by any time - the friendly staff will be happy to help.
About this creation

The Emporium now stretches all the way back to the Outbrick Steak House.

The classic front end of the shop has remained unchanged. It has simply been extended to the end of the block.

Here we can see the new back entrance to the store. From this side you can enter directly into the new boutique grocery store. Good thing the property backs up to Lockridge Plantation. Their new new organic products are sure to be a big hit.

Here we can take in the whole ground floor.

Starting at the back you can see the new butcher shop and bakery. Finest meats and breads in town!

Cafe Corner Coffee and Pixel Cola - fast movers in any store.

Breakfast cereal and even some grub for the family pet.

Mmmmmmm... waffles and maple syrup - breakfast of champion minifigs everywhere.

Clothing on the rack...

Customers on the floor...

Customers in the isles...

Customers at the counter...

First floor - home furnishings and electronics

Looks like Bananas may have some competition...

Desktop printers and something bigger...

Gaming consoles...

TVs and home audio...

Table and floor lamps...

Living room set...

Second floor - toys, candy, and arcade...

Paints, colored pencils, crayons...

The obligatory LEGO isle!

Some of the larger toy displays...

Looks like they've got some classics as well as some new titles in the arcade...

More arcade games...

Ice cream and bubble gum - what more could a kid want?

Yum - the candy counter!

You'll have to settle up at the counter here before heading downstairs...

It is a true pleasure to discover Godwin's Hollow. I really like the architecture of all the buildings and the interiors are exceptional! Thank you for mentioning BrickBuildersPro. What they do is amazing - I placed an order yesterday.

Very nice expansion of the GE. I'm a big fan of Modular Buildings, and I always enjoy a good expansion. :-) Best regards.

Insane decal details! I would love to have the ability to do that for my Moc's, I have a taller than normal Emporium myself, very good MOC! Z

Excellent/incredible! Very well done Stewart, the level of detail is amazing. The butcher shop/bakery is especially wonderful. The use of container/cupboard element 4532a in the wall is great: I will definitely 'borrow' this idea for my own projects! I went to brickbuilderspro to look for stickers but they don't have any, did you buy all of them? ;-)

Amazing upgrade to the Grand Emporium! So much detail to take in. Clothes rack is great and how you make the candy counter stuff. Detail on the stickers is great. I want a box of frosted plates :D

Again, thank you everyone for the very kind comments. To answer a common question all of the custom artwork and stickers came from BrickBuildersPro. They have some great art that can really add a lot to your interior details.

Superb! Everything about this is so well thought out and executed. Love the mannequins and the clothing on hangers. The butcher shop looks great. I also like all of the decals for the different products in the emporium. Are those custom decals or LEGO produced?

I absolutely love this building even better than tool shop and bike shop... Still love the fire house (as I'm a huge Lego fire fan). Always makes my day to see and read about your city. Keep up the great work stewart. Graeme

Thank you all for the great comments. To answer a few questions there are only 2 GE's in this MOC. The custom artwork, arcade games, and candy shop all came from BrickBuildersPro - they've got some really great things that, like many of you have said, really help add some kick to interior details. We're almost done with out City Hall so check back in a few days and we should have some pics of it up as well. Thanks again for checking out our little city and for all of the very generous comments.

This is a very good modification of the Grand Emporium. But the interior is what stands out! It's excellent, and the stickers add to the experience. Well done!
