Ferrari 310
The F310 proved to be a front-running car, but without the outright pace or superb reliability which led to the Williams FW18s dominating 1996. Schumacher was able to win three Grands Prix, but the F310's shortcomings were shown by Irvine's run of eight consecutive retirements, most of them mechanical, as well as three straight double retirements.
About this creation

This is the Ferrari 310 used by Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari debut year, 1996. This is the higher nose spec version, used from the Canadian Grand Prix onwards. This is a practice build taking inspiration from the Ferrari Formula One LEGO set No. 2556 released sometime in the late 1990's I believe. I hope to use the skills from this to make some of my own cars from the 90's era of F1.

This is the side of the car. I have used yellow wheels to represent the gold that the actual car had. You can also the see extra winglets, coming from the rear wing.

This is the rear of the chassis, which isn't detailed much, but has rear suspension.

The engine cover is removable to reveal the 310 engine. You can clearly see the distinct square shaped sidepods. There is also a camera on top of the airbox.

This is the V10, 3 litre engine, which connects to the gearbox and rear suspension.

There is simple front suspension, and bargeboards on each side of the car. There isn't much to say about the front wing.

Thanks for looking at this model, please comment and rate if you have the time, and suggest any improvements, I'd appreciate it greatly.

Quoting Lego Builders Very cool. It's much much better than your other ones, probably since this was made using LDD. Now build it in real bricks! :-) -LB Jr.
Thanks! Oh trust me, i'd love to ;)

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Very nice. It is great to see what you are capable of with unlimited pieces. I especially like the nose and side pods. My only suggestion for improvement (as you have directly asked for it) is to make the wheel base a stud or two longer (the front wheels seem a little close to the side pods). However I am sure you have considered that already. Great build.
Glad you like it. Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking this myself, if I make another car from this era, I shall try to do this.
