Sith Emperor Mission 2
So here it is. Unlike everyone else, I didn't fight the Emperor for my entry. In the interest of lore, I've chosen instead to create something that represents Inferno's ascent to power. Nothing in the rules for this contest says that you have to fight the Emperor, and frankly it makes no sense to have scores of sith all fighting and killing Algren at different times. Note that tis is set just before the battle of Coruscant.
About this creation
This is set at a temple that was on Gardocia before it was destroyed. It was built by Inferno's master, Diagis, who foresaw what was to come (his death and Inferno's rise to power). The pedestal was built around a large Penthurium crystal, and empowered with the force-spirits of Inferno's ancestors, hence the Sha'a Na'ana robes and saber-staff. The crystal in the pedestal maintains an atmosphere an the asteroid.

Here we see inferno retrieving his new saber-staff

I feel that I should be emperor because, as Harry said, I am one of the sith's better builders. I have been active to some extent since I joined, and build my first mission in just 2 days. I feel that I can improve the promotion system with something I'll explain if I win that will ensure that higher scoring members get the higher ranks. I have one of the more in-depth stories behind my sig-fig, I keep an eye on the lore of the whole war, rather than just individual sig-fig story lines, and I hereby vow never to use Megablocks.

No doubt you're one of the Sith's better builders! (And, unlike me, you absolutely deserve the position you have today!)

Quoting Harry 863 Oh, you can also begin to judge creations entered into the group for the main mission. And also, where does Inferno's golden staff come from?
Inferno's staff is a combination of two pieces (a lightsaber blade and the ninjago modified lightsaber hilts) and trick photography to hide the top's hilt.

Congratulations Emperor Inferno! My new mortal enemy haha. If you need a run through of your duties you can find them in the 'Grand Master and Emperor' thread in the group and if you've got any questions then post them there. Of course you will need to enter as many of the missions as possible and whenever the Sith win a planet it will be up to you to come up with the next mission (copying the standard format obviously) however I can always do that if you want me to :) Congratulations Inferno

Wow Inferno, that's just... amazing. That is one of the best builds I have seen you make. I love your design for the temple and as Duncan said, the pedestal is tres special design

This is probably one of the best GFW mocs I have seen in a while. So good that I took the time to look through the GFW creations and decided to comment. So congrats on that. This is a real cool build you have here. I really like how you didn't have your sig fighting the emperor and went for a different and more creative approach. Also a lot of great details here and it does almost feel Iike an overgrown ruined temple. Maybe a little more plants around the baseplate would have done it for me. I really like your door design and functionality as well as your pedestal. If I was judging then I would pick you for Emperor. But it's Duncan's decision so I can't say anything. Good luck!

Great, this will be hard to beat... I am going to have to tear down my entry when I get home! Great job!

Very, very nice Inferno. I really like the main pic but that pedestal just blew me away. Incredible. The columns inside the temple are also awesome. The landscaping certainly needs to be worked on but the main foliage is decent. It's also nice to have a different take on the mission. Your score: 8.5/10. This will be hard to beat.

I do love a siggy with a story. Mine has one, which I want to elaborate on. Maybe if you win you could make a side-mission where each entrant has to create a sotry for his siggy, beyond just a fight scene.

Simply brilliant Inferno! As you said its nice to have an entry that isn't just your figure killing the Emperor. The build is fantastic, especially the pedestal that held the saberstaff. However what I really like about the build is the back story, I think your figure has one of the most detailed backgrounds in the group. This will be a tough entry to beat I think, good luck! Oh I'd also be interested to here about this new idea for promoting people
