Ah, yes, that was about the time I got my "new" X-wing fighter and was REALLY into Star Wars, so I noticed the problems in the set, mostly I did not like the front. Why am I saying that? Well, the nose seemed too long and "sharp", and the problem with your version is that it is even longer than the second official version's. The colouring details are pretty cool though, but I can not judge resemblance any more.
