A model of the imagined vision of the hall of the Aesir Gods and Einherjer, paradise in Norse Mythology.
About this creation
The Norse believed that the bravest warriors who died in battle were carried off across the Bifrost bridge (a rainbow) by the Valkyries to the hall of the brave, where Odin would grant them much drink, feasts and whatever else made a Viking happy until it was time for the spirits of the brave, the Einherjer, to ride side by side with the Aesir gods across the bridge once more to the end of the world, into the battle of Ragnarok.
The myth inspired this creation, which features outer walls and a throne room. Excuse the quality of the pictures, the camera I was using at the time wasn't of the highest standards.
