4th Wall commentary:
This madness started from hearing this song playing in the background while waiting in my pets’ vet office. About 2 days later, ‘The Song of Ages’ Contest was announced and I was hooked. I chose this song because I have always liked its Flamingo quality, especially noticeable in its musical intro and outro. Finally, all sig figs used in this project are fictional. Any Hotel Player’s resemblance to a real-life MOCpages’ sig fig is purely coincidental.

First of all, I'd like to say your video was very entertaining. A cool style, which really played to your personal style. Which was what helped your score, as you have a unique style that you used to your advantage. This being said, your builds were not the strongest of the contest, unfortunately. But overall, a great entry. Cool beans.

Thanks, Dave. Yes, I tackled/experimented with a number of things on this. I've always liked the music of the song... never paid that close of attention to the lyrics. I think I've dissected/analyzed them to the point that they are now detracting from the music for me! :)

Thanks! The highway bit was an experiment. I just strapped the camera in the back on an old Fabuland vehicle base with the fig centered and rolled it along while taking the video. And I finally got to use that spotlight effect! :)
