Using an LDD to POV-Ray application, I rendered my first MOC. This took between 12-18 hours to render, so don't expect anymore anytime soon. The building has 613 bricks and primarily uses "Indian Feathers" as balconies.

the first pic looks great! the shadow of the balconies makes a big difference in the realism of the piece. |

Beautiful design Pual! It doesn't sound like rendering is worth it though, since now you'll still have to put in the time to build it out of brick! :P |

Tell me about render time, Paul. I know exactly how wearing it can be. But the result is worth the waiting, finally an LDD pic that looks amazing. |

Paul, there is no doubt you have skills, and your stuff doesn't get the recognition it deserves, this is proof right here, absolutely out of the box build here! Z |

It's a very good MOC. The use of the feathers as balconies, the choice of colors, and what is that on the roof? A geodesic dome over a swimming pool perhaps? Very nice. I feel your pain with the digital building systems. You are never out of parts (if they exist in the digital inventory) but man! It is difficult to develop the aptitude needed to build any faster than a snail’s pace. Again, excellent MOC. Attack! |
