Another landscape of the prehistoric sort, but this time of a time before the dinosaur existed... when 'insects' called the shots

About this creation

Here we see an arthropleura... that's scientist for "millipede the size of your subcompact".

And keeping in the tradition of using prehistoric critters that decided to keep up with the times, here's a Coelacanth.

The waterline, emphasized with darker 'wet' rocks and some foamy waves.

Aerial view, again using our prehistoric helicopter.

It was immensely difficult to get my head around the "no grass" concept. It looks good now, but I kept putting down green plates only to remember they needed to be brown or grey.

Another aerial view, highlighting my lack of skill when it comes to ground that isn't just green with some more green and a side of green on a bed of greens.

Stinkapus Maximus is backicus! I'm beginning to think it might be... no longer with us. Why else would it stick around? =/

And... yeah, I'm not sure what I was attempting to accomplish in this photo. At least it looks nice.

just an FYI, there were no trees in the carboniferous. just large fern-like plants. Also, this could use some early amphibians, and a giant dragonfly or two.

Looks amazing! I like everything from the layered and textured beach to the arthropleura! I like how you have places the plants and even you humorous commentary.
