A praying mantis made out of Hero Factory parts.

About this creation

I made this for a Hero Factory contest. Really, it's just a big praying mantis. Pretty simple build. Seems to be what I excel at, but I'll get better with time.

So in order to be eligible for the contest I needed to describe my villain. Here is the essay I wrote.

"Mezmera is a highly intelligent and dangerous villain. Her razor claws can slice through anything (except maybe hero cuffs). Her four legs allow her to move quickly and even walk on walls and ceilings. She prefers to hunt at night when she can hide in the shadows, allowing her to sneak up on unsuspecting victims. But her most dangerous attribute is her hypnotic stare. Many who have survived an encounter with Mezmera do not even recall the ordeal because of her powerful hypnosis, which can render a Hero unconscious in seconds.

"Mezmera feeds on a variety of energy-rich foods, but her favorite morsels are the hero cores of rookie Heroes. Each hero core she ingests grants her increased power. When her body can no longer contain the energy, she molts into a new, larger form. Her tiny wings are not yet functional, but when she reaches her final, gargantuan stage they will be large enough to take her skyward to hunt down her prey. With her powerful hypnosis, deadly claws and ever increasing strength, this villain must be stopped – and the sooner the better!"

I love it!! You know I never really like the Heros from Hero Factory!! I like the villans better (what does this say about me?). Mezmera is one of the greatest villans ever!! I hope you win Parkitor.
