About this creation
Here's a short history of events that led up to this kinda creepy model:
1. Yesterday, I wanted to build a chicken walker.
2. I then stumbled upon a nice leg design that unfortunately wasn't for a chicken walker.
3. I still wanted to make a chicken walker, but I couldn't part with the hardsuit leg design.
4. I thought: "Why not build a hardsuit... ...and add a chicken to fight it!"
5. "Oh, and I'll make the chicken look like something from Black Fantasy!"
6. After a few hours of building, I completed "Chicken vs. Walker."
So, here's a little backstory:
In the not-so-distant future, due to overpopulation, the government begins super-classified biological experiments on the average chicken to supposedly help support the growing population. But of course, the tests end up creating horrendous mutant chickens, the birds escape, and the apocalypse begins. Here a mysterious Prowler mech attempts to capture the chicken for unknown reasons...
The mech is equipped with bioluminescent claws that attract mutant chickens into it's open arms...
The claws are fed bioluminescent bacteria from a storage tank on the back of the mech.
Looks like the chicken's already had lunch...
I chose to give the chicken a studded appearance because then it adds a little bit of contrast to the vig.
This is my attempt at showing the glow-in-the-dark capabilities of the mech. Sorry, but I don't think any camera can take good pics in the dark!
Right now you're probably thinking: "Glowing mechs, Black Fantasy chickens that look like something from Alien? What the heck is this guy on!?"
Answer: Outoftheboxitosyn. Don't try it. Once you have, it's all downhill from there. :P

Chicken vs. Walker... I get it! Great use of the Lowell Sphere as a staring point, but you just went crazy from there! I also love the color contrast between the creature and the suit. Great work. ~Dave |

Wow, Elliot. Really interesting build. I love the power suit. I'm glad you gave us that leg design, it is very well conceived. The most impressive part for me is those monstrous hands. Very scary. The chicken is also well done. You really did well with the aggressive bird pose. Very fowl;) The bones really set the build off. Nightmarish and well done, good sir! |

Actually, I forgot to mention this, but the two "heads" on either side of the pilot are actually tranquilizer turrets that can neutralize, or even kill, chicken escapees. :P
