This is a completely revised version of my original series Bridge.
About this creation
The whole thing fits on a large baseplate now, and the piece count is 1401 (down from 1628). The floating turbolift in the background does actually fit in the hull, it's just at a weird angle that LDD doesn't like. It's also supposed to sit on a tile, unfixed.
I was able to make the banisters more accurate, and as usual the doors slide open. There is still some room for decals on the uniforms and some of the displays.
In this overhead view you can see how much better it all fits together, and how much closer to a circle it is than the previous version.
The only piece connecting the fore and aft halves is the front step, for easy removal. The rest of the forward section sits on tiles.
Here's a classic POV of alpha shift on the Enterprise. Thankfully no alien incursions are ever scheduled for the other shifts.
The service corridor is a bit narrower bit still fits a minifig. Unfortunately Ensign Jones there couldn't find his way out again!
The hull over the turbolift easily snaps on and off. Better than the hinges on the old version.
Looks like a faceless Orion - posing as an Andorian - is on his way up! That redshirt better be ready...
