Built March 2012.
About this creation
I built this diorama with the intent of displaying it at Star Wars Days 2012 at LEGOLAND, but I just didn't get it done in time. Sorry about the background. I've always tried not to use a sheet, but with big creations I kinda have to because my white poster board isn't very large. I was inspired to build this after I saw the Clone Wars Season 3 finale, but I just didn't get around to building it until recently. Enjoy!

A Trandoshan Beachcomber has intercepted an escape attempt by prisoners trapped on Island 4 on the hunting moon, Wasskah! What will happen next?

Close-up of the Beachcomber. I tried to use some NPU.

Small storage compartment.

Cannons.

An alien aristocrat is running for his life as laser blasts explode right behind him!

Our favorite duo... ...a little younger, perhaps!

Poor guy...

My favorite shot.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this model. I probably won't be posting anything for a while since I'm sorting a bunch of pieces right now. As always, feel free to leave your thoughts about this model.

Quoting David . (Gone Until July 28th) I love your PU in this! The dinos' heads , the axe, the tail, it's all amazing! And that grey water gives it a misty, murky feel. The forest is very realistic, and I thought of the Trandoshans when I saw the ship! (The title helped me a bit, too. Although, I must ask, what part is used for the storage compartment cover? I don't believe I've seen it before. At first I the it was from the imperial drop-ship, but at a closer look I realized no. How you people can add all these little details, and still have a cocpit and storage compartment, and then add all the greebles and what-not, it just wipes me away and I'm sitting on the floor dumbfounded. I just don't know how you do it. God Bless ~ David.
The storage compartment cover is from the Agents set Speedboat Chase (Mission 4).

Really an excellent build! I really like the gray water and the way you added the sand islands for detail and textural interest points. The beachcomber has some really great elements and part usage as well.

I love seeing the MOCs you come out with. This is no exception. The jungle landscaping looks great, but what really turns my head is the ship you built. Very unique design. I love the different bird heads you used and the front end is what really sets it off. One of the most unique ships I have seen to date. Well done.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Excellent work, you have a knack for large element integration. The ship is impressively designed, and the diorama has plenty of detail without being cluttered. The ship gives a nice multi-level dimension to it, and the grey water is a really good touch.
Yeah, I thought that blue water was just too "happy", so I incorporated grey water to give it more of a murky feel. I forgot to mention this, but the prisoners were trying to cross to another island by means of a sandbar. The Beachcombers were instituted to prevent travel from one island to another. The organic wings of the ship, taken from a condor dragon, are meant to confuse the prisoners. Soaring at a high altitude, a Beachcomber looks just like any other large bird.
