I saw a couple Colt 1911 models posted on here recently and it reminded me that one of my fans asked me to give it a try a while ago. I took a look at some pics and thought it was a plain looking pistol, so I passed. Then I realized The Punisher wielded a pair of these in the 2004 movie. So I figged I'd give it a shot. Also, I haven't posted a full scale weapon on a couple months. I wanted to see if I still had the touch. The first bunch of pics are of a standard M1911. It measures 8.75" long, which is slightly longer than the real thing. The sides of the pistol grip went through ALOT of changes during the course of the design. I finally got it rounded, smooth and was able to simulate the screws. The last bunch are of the customized version from The Punisher movie, with the compensator and modified trigger and hammer.

Beautifully made. I was thinking about making another myself (I already got one). This only encourage me to make it as best as I can.
Thanks! I think I might give a Walther P38 a try next.
