Following the ill fated first ORRT mission to Venus, no one went back to look for survivors. But someone did survive. Now renamed General Amadeus, and missing one hand to a giant Venusian dinosaur, the old Commander has lived the last 15 years with only robots for company. When the return mission landed, Amadeus was sent mad with rage, and he sent his Shadow Bot to capture as many of the new team as possible. Back at his lab Colonel Abrams and Captain Pythagoras are held in a cage, whilst poor Space Ranger Falco is having his brain manipulated by Amadeus' fiendish Venusian rock crystal.

Well, you snuck a couple more in there on me. Yes this is scary classic space and I think you did outdo it with the Mutagen-Robotics Lab. I must admit, I didn't get the "Trapped" reference. I've never heard that song before, but Falco's Rock Me Amadeus is an 80's classic. I want to mention the brain manipulation machine on this one. I think that was the big victory here. Well done, David. |

Old parts and new thoughts. Can't beat that! I really like the use of the old helmets. Just knowing how long those parts have been rattling around Lego space, and they are still in excellent use! I really like the little disk bot. The whole thing reminds me of MST3K. Attack! |

Not only are your building skills spot one but your story telling and feel for suspense are perfect as well. Can't wait to see what happens and I really enjoy how you tie everything together. |

They just keep getting better! Perhaps Capt. P. has a hidden communicator that he can use to tap into that cage's CPU... do a little number crunching and get them out of there! It's one angle of escape anyhoo! :)
Alternatively the Colonel can just sing his way out of there. |

Fantastic David, you are so creative. I love the brain manipulation machine, poor Falco. For some reason I have Flash Gordon in my mind. I am working on my own classic space moc too, I hope to post soon, maybe tomorrow.
I had the scene from the Black Hol where the crew are turned into drones in mind, but Flash works well too. |
