A busy week for me this week, so just a small build. Here I was working out some SNOT and angle work combined.

Funny and very original design! It's strange that Lego designers did not have thought about it earlier... Usual parts, little size, so it is perfectly integrated in classic space theme. Well done!! |

With so many different building techniques, this would have to be one of the most educational builds I have seen! It has given me quite a few good ideas already, thanks for posting this awesome little beast! :-) |

I'll go right along with everyone else and praise your awesomeness. You have a lot of it. The awesomeness, that is. I love the structure of this ship! |

Love it. Small build, but some really cool techniques involved here. I like the thruster design, and the way you worked the cockpit is very unique and interesting. It's fun to watch how your imagination jumps from one genre or blend to the next. Hard to guess what's coming next. Well done, once more.
Thank you. |

Does this mean that red escaped the clutches of the shadow robot?
I like how you put thought into the design features of triangles and threes. Even as a kid, I was sort of obsessive about symmetry and patterns.
It does look kind of unstable though. I try to make all of my models like Tonka trucks because my boys usually end up playing with them (and breaking them!). One of the reasons that I avoid many of the newer sets is that they are unstable and lack playability. The classic stuff may have not had all the bells and whistles but at least you could play with it without it disintegrating in your hands (well, at least most of the classics). |

He's kind of like Captain Scarlet, always back next week. BTW, the ship is like a brick with the canopy shut, but opened up, it might as well be made of tissue paper.

If those tri-wings are equi-angular, then I can say... Nifty at Sixty! :)

and a very well done SNOT-work you did! nice design on the wings. the little engines are awesome in fact that you put 3 on each side! - cool! the colorsheme reminds me a little bit to the newer (90's?) spacepolice...?
That's the other deign feature, triangles and threes. |

I thought the first photos looked good and then, as I scrolled down, I saw the photos of the whole ship opening and thought that that bit was absolutely brilliant! A simple idea but original & neat.
The opening is a design response to wanting a lot of SNOT and the front two canopies aligned - I think it works, although the MOC is rather unstable when fully opened. |
