Hey! It's been a while I've uploaded something on MOCpages and I've come back with a 12 wide car. I started building this at the beginning of June and I havem't made any progress untill a few weeks later when I was finished with my exams. I actually finished this weeks ago but felt lazy to go for the photoshoot. Anyway here it is, my Rolls-Royce Phantom. I changed many things during the build and the most annoying part was the roof line and the c-pilar, the Phantom has a pretty long roof, but I once made it too long and it looked like a hearse. I tried using a new technique for the c-pilar, but didn't work out well so I just built it this way as it made the model look cleaner.
I built this for Dan the Man's latest contest which is to build a British car. I really needed to build something new for the contest because for the previous contests I have been entering old creations. I think I did a pretty well and I like it. I hope you Like it too! :D Scroll down and have a look at the pictures.
In this picture you can see the Phantom's long hood with a big V12 engine underneath it. As you scroll down you will get to see the engine.
Very long body.
The Phantom's long, fat ass and its small tail-lights.
Front door opens....
....and so does the rear door! Sucide doors! :D
Here's a pic with all the doors open.
Some other views of the car with all the doors open.
And here's a shot with just the rear door open. You can imagine the chauffeur holding the door for a wealthy businessman to get in.
Trunk open with a big "luxury" suitcase inside it.
A better view.
Here is my hand "opening" the hood.
Sorry it's not an actual opening one, I tried to but then I wouldn't have a dashboard inside.
My replica of the 6.75 litre V12 engine.
Another view of the full open car.
Interior view, all red.
Yeah, the dashboard looks bland but it's better than not having one.
