Up on the bridge, R.K. was shouting orders to everyone. The majority of the team had to help fly the ship, as there were no pilots on board and the ones who weren’t were getting ready in the gunner seats with the exception of Jamie who was bandaging himself up.

“Prepare for takeoff.” Blast said to the crew as they figured out how to fly it. “Now.” Blast gave the order and slowly the ship lifted vertically upwards, hovering above the platform. The gunship kept rising up and the landing gears retracted as they headed forwards.

“There we go.” Iadsgb said, standing at the main viewing window.
The ship flew across the city and down below them they could see the full rage of the battles taking place, the assault on Alsodo was in full motion.

“G.C.C. cruiser up ahead.” Hess called to Blast who was stood watching them.
“Gunners prepare to fire.” Blast commanded into his comlink and the gunners in place prepared themselves.

“In range.” Hess stated.
“Fire!” came the order from Blast in Nightblaze’s comlink and he along with the other gunners let rip.

The lasers flew from the turrets and smashed into the G.C.C. cruisers.
The gunship flew around inside the cave; firing at any G.C.C. ships or fights on the ground it could find. It took the enemy cruisers a short time to begin attacking back, confused as to why their own ship would be firing upon them.

But just a couple of minutes later and the first of the cruisers suddenly erupted in a fireball and slowly sank down towards the wooden city.

From up above, Iadsgb could see that the city was built on a mountain in the bottom of a giant cave, just like they’d thought from the ground. The city was built all around the sides of the mountain with the palace situated at the very top. There were four landing platforms that stuck out from the side of the cliff-face on opposite sides of the mountain to each other. The cave itself had an opening in the middle of the roof allowing ships to enter and exit and sunlight to pass through.

The space fight above the city continued, their gunship taking heavy fire from the larger G.C.C. cruisers. But after a short time, the second of the cruisers started falling down in a large spiral and then exploded on the side of the cliff.

The team whooped and cheered but fell silent after just a few seconds of their relief as a shout came across the bridge. All looked up as Commander Bobahead, viroblade in hand, charged from the doorway at Iadsgb,

who quickly drew his lightsaber in order to parry the blow.

“How’d he get on board?” Blast asked out loud but to himself as Iadsgb dueled the head of the G.C.C..
The F.I.S. leader slashed and parried blows with Bobahead, the latter’s viroblade sparking against the formers lightsaber.

Bobahead took a low swing at Iadsgb who jumped the swipe and slashed downwards to no avail, as Bobahead leapt sideways out of harm’s way.

Iadsgb took a swipe but Bobahead parried it and lunged forwards, causing the F.I.S. leader to spin to the side, knocking the enemy blade away as he did so.

“Fire a sector 3,2,2,4.” Blast commanded into his comlink and glanced up at the duel taking place at the other side of the bridge.

The gunship was still flying around the city, firing on any G.C.C squads they could see down below but was now starting to rise up, preparing to leave.

Stallion pulled out his blaster and aimed it from where he sat in front of a control screen at Bobahead but Blast pushed it down.
“No, you might hit Iadsgb.”
“Then why don’t you help him fight?” Stallion asked, accusingly.
“Because then who would keep an eye on you lot? Besides he’s got it under control.”

Iadsgb’s lightsaber clashed against Bobahead’s viroblade as the pair continued their duel.
“You cannot win Iadsgb!” Bobahead taunted as the two blades ground against each other for a moment. “The F.I.S. shall fall! As will the U.R.S.!” he shouted over at Blast. “You will all die!”

Then as the fight continued Hess mumbled to Blast, “Cheerful chappie isn’t he.” And the U.R.S. head chuckled quietly.

Iadsgb’s blade smashed down onto Bobahead’s who retaliated by smashing his upward back into Iadsgb’s and then lunging for his chest. Iadsgb sidestepped but still got a scrape on his armour. He glanced down at the damage in a brief pause then chopped at Bobahead who backed off towards the rear window.

Iadsgb hacked and hacked at Bobahead who continued reversing away until his legs hit the control panel in front of the window.

Bobahead did a good job of holding the F.I.S. leader off and started taunting him again.
“You’re not as strong as people say you are, are you! You’re a weakling really! A weakling I shall crush and after I’ve crushed you I will crush your good pal Blast!”

Blast looked over at the mention of his name and jokingly put his thumb up at the G.C.C. leader and received a glare from Iadsgb in return.

“You see! Pathetic!” Bobahead said with a grin.
Iadsgb bellowed with rage and Bobahead’s eyes widened as the F.I.S. leader took a step back and slammed his lightsaber down onto the other man’s blade, knocking clean from his grasp.

Then his left hand drew back and he threw it out, palm forwards at Bobahead.

The G.C.C. leader was thrown back through the air in the force blast. He smashed back into the glass window, which shattered into thousands of tiny shards and he fell out into the air.

Way down below in another part of the city, Bisvernicof decapitated two G.C.C troops with one swipe and then froze.

He’d sensed somebody using the force and looked up and saw the G.C.C. gunship fly miles overhead.

He snarled and with a crouch, sprung into the air, disappearing in smoke as he did.

Up above, just moments after the G.C.C. leader had smashed through the window; Bisvernicof suddenly appeared, floating outside in huge wafts of purple and the screaming Bobahead fell into the smoke and didn’t re-appear.
Arms spread wide, looking terrifying; Bisvernicof floated in an eerie yet magnificently menacing way towards the open window.

Iadsgb stumbled backwards.

“All thrusters on full reverse power! And prepare to make the jump to hyperspace!” Blast commanded and after just a moment, the two huge engines on the back of the ship blasted into reverse, massive jets of fire blaring out.

Bisvernicof was right in front of them and the flames engulfed him.

He hid his face in his robe sleeve and in a purple explosion disappeared to save himself just as durasteel panels slid across the gap where the window had been.

Then the gunship aimed at the hole in the roof of the cave and disappeared into hyperspace, leaving the battle still raging down in the city below.
