My Entry to round 5 (The Semi-Finals!) of the The Periodic Bionicle Contest
The Category was to build Bro's of Bromine
These two brothers were chosen by the Order of Mata Nui at a young age to be chosen for one of the few elemental toa to be created.

After they were turned into toa, they trained hard for almost a year. I turned out that Dakato was the more skilled and was praised more often than Ecros.
After the two toa passed training, they were sent on real missions, focusing on destroying the dark hunters efforts to create elemental beings. The main scientist for this movement was Assistant
who was known as Motu and also Amputer
They ambushed the team of scientists several times, but Assistant got away several times. However, Dakato was able to catch the other scientists. He was praised for his work , while Ecros grew bitter, and felt he was being ignored.
Dakato still loved his brother, and tried helping him get some credit. Still, Ecros never got the chance to show what he was worth.
The next mission, they came into the lab Assistant was working in. This time, Assistant had a plan. He had taken explosives, and planted them into the supports. They ran toward the exit, with Dakato in the lead, when the entrance collapsed, and Ecros was trapped inside.
Dakato tried every single disk setting to get back in. He search for any other entrance, but he could not find a single other entrance. He went back to the Order, telling them of Ecros’ predicament. They went out with a search party, but when they finally got inside, Ecros was gone, along with assistant.

Back inside, while Dakato was getting help, Ecros got trapped under some rubble. He was saved by Assistant, who told him that Dakato had left him to die, Assistant promised that he would get his revenge.
Assistant introduced him to the dark hunters, and Ecros then joined, getting the false promise that he would get his revenge.
The evil scientist then used Ecros’ biochemistry to figure out how to take a normal toa, and turn him into a elemental toa.
With this information, he made a new toa of Pottasium, by the name of Kalium, who also
worked for the Dark Hunters.
For the rest of his career with the brother hood, they sent him on missions accompanying other dark hunters, to knock out any unwanted resistance with his bromine gas.
On one of these missions, Dakato and a team of toa were attacked for a precious cargo of a new type of weapon recovered from Xia. Dakato immediately recognized the gas, and pushed it away from his team. Ecros also knew of one other toa with that power, his brother. He attacked Dakato with rage of hundreds of years of neglect and supposed abandonment.
After a breif battle, only Dakato remained, and Ecros lashed out at him again and again.
Afraid to lose his brother once again, he only sought to protect himself. Soon, Ecros disarmed him. Dakato pleaded with his life, but Ecros showed no mercy, and murdered him in cold blood.
Fourth Wall Commentary
I'm more proud of the Ecros more, and most likely all of you like him more.
I'm pretty satisfied how his arms turned out, along with his sword. Dakato I think has some good designs, like the body.(somewhat) But I'm not as satisfied as I am with Evil guy over there.

Both are great creations, and I like that the one has more brown and a little red and the other one the opposite! The weapons look nice, good luck in the contest! |
