About this creation
This is the Nevada Northern no. 40. Built in 1910,she hauled the same two passenger cars until 1941. She was preserved and was restored in 1987. After being sidelined in 2001, the Nevada Northern Railway Museum, who owned the locomotive, overhauled it in 2005, and it operates today. Now, about the MOC. This is my second steam locomotive model. It is a 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler. Like the real thing, it has reversing gear and other details. I hope to make Nevada Northern No. 93, a Consolidation, but I doubt I will get around to it. If you would like to copy this reversing gear design, please ask me first. Enjoy!
EDIT: I have since updated this engine a lot. I have removed the reversing gear. I also had removed the motor for a while, but I modded it again and put it back on. I took if off in the first place because the motor on the tender didn't exactly do well pushing the engine. It runs well now, but it stalls sometimes. I like to pair it with my two blue and white passenger cars.
