5867 Euro Truck

My third entry to the Alternative Contest. I must admit that I like 5867 more every time I work with it, but it's getting hard to make original models with all the alternatives already made. This is my version of a euro truck. It has many functions and is "minifigure compatible".

About this creation

Exhaust pipes on the left side...

...and steps on the right.

Of course, the doors open.

I succeeded to add a lot of detail inside: dashboard, steering wheel, rear-view mirror and seats.

My favorite function: the roof is "openable".

You can put a minifigure in the driver seat (and the passenger seat too).

I could add a trailer at the back of the truck, though I would need to make few modifications.

Aesthetics: 9, neatness: 9, parts usage: 8, idea: 7, other: 8. Total: 41/50, a new highscore. A very good alternate; looks great, nice functions, and it even fits a minifig! I also like the assymmetric details. It might not look so easy to come up with something new, but I know from experience that it's possible to design more models from this set that I haven't seen online yet... ;-)

An amazing entry - every bit of it is filled with great details and shaping. Aesthetics: 9 Neatness: 9 Creative Idea: 8 Creative Parts Use: 9 Other: 9 Total 44/50, highest score I've given yet! Some great details, just a few small things need to be perfected.
