Well, here is my entry into the Second Round of The First Official Moccer Cup.
I am in the "Average" Category and so we had to create something "Musical".
The title of my entry is: "The Pianist."
Enjoy!

So here he is. Mr. Pianist. Please note the "Stage Lighting".

Playing his latest symphony on his grand piano.

I must say, I'm rather pleased with how my stage turned out.

I love my Grand Piano too!

Plinkety-plink on the keys.

Looking on from the wings. (For those who don't know, the wings are the bits each side of the stage.)

Here you can see the Pros Arch (Or Proscenium Arch if we're going to be technical! And as a trainee Theatre Technician, I should be! haha!) You can also see the curtains (Front tabs) and the two, angled side flats. I'm pretty pleased with those actually!

My Pianist showing off his stool.

A better look at the piano from the front.

The keys, both white and black. Also note the foot pedals too.

The strings inside the lid of the piano.

And yes, the lid does close.

From the back with the lid closed.

A shot of the whole thing so you can see how I achieved the "stage lights". I wanted to create a spotlight on the pianist from above but the light spread too much and so didn't really work as well as I'd hoped. Oh well, I still think it looks good though.

And now some pictures in ordinary lighting. Note the wooden paneling on the front of the stage and the border (the curtain stretching across the top of the stage.)

Another view.

A view of the whole thing without the lights.

Easter Egg!!! Round the back of the stage we have an extra little scene features the techies!!!!

Classical concerts are always rather boring as there's never really much to do for the technicians so here we have a group of techies chatting out the back, all wearing their "Stage Blacks."

An angled shot of the stage.

The pianist at his piano again.

The piano in normal lighting.

The composer / pianist. You can see the white keys a bit better in this photo.

The whole thing from the front.

Looking on stage from the stage right wing.

And finally the piano from above.
Well, that's my entry! The whole thing took me 4 days to finish, so not long really. I think it should be quite unique, especially the lighting. I'm a bit disappointed with the way it didn't create a spotlight but oh well, they still look good. I'm really happy with my Piano and the stage as a whole. So overall, I'm pleased with the way this has turned out.
