Story:
Once Catok rescued Jordan and slayed Nexus, he went to the Overworld to find the Golden Hau, the legendary Kanohi of Tahu. Years earlier it was the source that brought him back to life. Catok opened a portal to the Overworld using his hand. Once Catok walked into the Overworld, he knew immediately that something was wrong. The sky was thick with clouds of a dark red hue, the air was crisp cold and even the grass and trees were a darker shade of green. Catok moved silently through empty fields where crops were withered and infested with weeds. He sensed the great mask’s presence. He walked to a Ta-Matoran village; the place was deserted. The street was empty, the shops were closed, there was no sign of life anywhere. He walked through the village, continuing down a dirt road. He noticed footprints too big to be Matoran’s, there were scuff marks and signs of a struggle. He didn’t have time to examine these things further so he continued down the road, quickening his pace. He eventually came to a Toa stronghold. He moved swiftly and silently to the back of the fortress. He clambered up the wall and swung onto the battlements where a Toa patrolled. He quickly ducked into an enclosed room. It was empty aside from a few tables with war maps and diagrams. There was also another door on the opposite side of the room. He moved over and grabbed the door handle but paused when he heard muffled speaking coming from inside. He opened the door a crack to hear what was being said.
“It will be safe here,” a deep voice said.
“If you are sure,” this time it was a female voice speaking, “then I shall take my leave.”
“Allow me to show you out,” said the deep voice.
Catok heard some murmurs and then footsteps, fading as they left through another door.
He waited a few seconds, and then walked into the room. It was much like the previous room, except smaller and more enclosed. On one side of the room was the door through which the other Toa had departed and on the other side was a pedestal, on it, rested the Golden Hau, glowing faintly. Catok’s eyes lit as he moved forward and grabbed the mask. He held it up arm length and smiled. Just then, the female Toa appeared in the doorway.
“No,” she screamed and ran towards Catok. She was tall and slender and on different circumstances, thought Catok, he would have hung around a bit longer.
Catok leaped from the pedestal towards the door from where he came. But the Toa was quick to block his path and jumped in front of the door. Catok paused a minute. He looked into her eyes; they were a tender captivating blue. Fortunately he was able to shake himself out of the daze just as the other Toa came running back through the other door. He tried to run for the door but the female Toa grabbed his arm. He flung the girl across the room on reflex and trampled the other Toa on his way out. Once he got out in open air he leaped over the battlements, summoned a portal beneath him and went back to the Underworld.
Catok’s abilities were gained when Nexus killed him. Being struck by Red Lightning while bearing the Golden Hau and being undead infused him with powers to walk between the realms of the living and dead. He could open portals wherever he wished, but only he could use them; he also could suck the life out of any living being if he wanted to.

Whoot. As I said, probably my best MOC, and one of my favorites. I really went all out on him. I actually built him last November. So yeah. :P It was after I got Witch Doctor and had lots of pieces to use. ;)

Fun fact: This version of Catok was originally going to have a WD mask, but then I decided, "whatevs". This mask looks cooler.
I wanted a big bulky look but still wanted a humanoid look too. I think I succeeded. ;)
Note: The red highlights are supposed to be there, I added them on purpose.

Now that is great building incloding great body ratio it's not to skinny and it's not to chaotic just really good thought put into how you went about it. :)

Oh good he's an ambassador. I wan't to ask him something. So yesterday I fell of this 10000 foot tall building, I was just wondering why I didn't die? I'm mean, not that I want to die. I like being alive! But it seemed kinda weird. LOL! Great MOC :)
Like you said multiple times, this is the best MoC you made so far and he is just epic! All the details you gave him, like those horns on his feet and the small system-skull-plates on his shoulders! He has come a long way, I just looked at his older versions, and this is many, many times better! I also like the story you're writing for your characters, and I'm now even mire interested what happened in the overworld! Fantastic creation!

Okay, first of all, what!? This is insane in the mainframe, the greebling sooo magnificent, and... simply put, everything about this make me wanna scream... in a good way. The axe-thingy is an achievement, his chestplate is detailed, the mask-helm looks good on him, and the arms... oh my god, the arms...
Think this is Epic work, truly so. I'm a huge fan of that helm, but I love the rest of the MOC you've designed to support it - GREAT attention to detail. Nice style, overall, and a compact and strong limb/torso proportion. Initially, I thought they might be a tad truncated, but the more I checked it out, the more they seemed to fit. AWESOME!
This is a very epic moc to say the least! I usually don't really like white mocs, but this one is just pure awesomeness!!! Keep up the good work!
