I was bored one day - and so instead of finishing a creation on my list, I built the Combaticons from G1. The fact that Fall of Cybertron is coming out soon, and has Bruticus in it, might have had something to do with me building these guys on a whim. Anywho, these are the Combaticons, and they do form Bruticus.
About this creation
So here they are in vehicle mode. From left to right we have - Swindle, Blast Off, Onslaught, Vortex and Brawl.
Top view of the vehicles - and also a shot of all the Combiner pieces for Bruticus.
Robot Modes! Swindle! Blast Off! Onslaught! Vortex! Brawl! All of them except Blast Off and Onslaught have Individually Articulated legs, and they all have Hero Factory/Bionicle fists, so they all can hold each other's weapons, and their own of course!
Close up on Swindle and Blast Off. I'd have to say, of these 5, Swindle is my favorite. This being the fact that his vehicle form, can actually seat 2 minifigures inside. Thats right. While none of the other four can seat minifigures in them, I tried to design them to mini-fig scale.
Close up of Brawl and Vortex. I actually built brawl like 3 times. First time, he ended up being too big. Then he was too short. Finally I got him to a height and size that worked.
Onslaught Close up. Unlike the toy, his blue under chest-plate is permanently attached. Also a cool part of his transformation, to extend his hands out, you pull the wheels out, then slide his hands out, and push the wheel back in to lock it in place!
Back view of all the Combaticons. Onslaught, along with all the weapons, have a few design ques taken from their RID counterparts, Mega-Octane and Ruination. These ques involve the weapons being able to join together at certain points to make 1 big cannon, and that Onslaught can store the Battle Station mode Ramp up on top of his large cannon. it can store there in robot mode - I just forgot to re-attach it when I transformed him.
Ready to form Bruticus!
The completed Bruticus. His arms can rotate 360, and his hands can move forward/backward somewhat. Legs sadly don't move due to Onslaught's limited feet articulation.
Bruticus front view.
Bruticus Back view.
Like I mentioned above, here is what all the weapons look like combined. I'll admit it looks a little sloppy, but at least this way they are not all just sitting in the background, or if this was an actual set, would have a place to store, and not risk getting lost.
and lastly, Onslaught in his battle station mode. Not the exact same as the toy's version, but this is as close as I could get it.

I don't mean to be rude but can you awnser my question about joints u use for cominers?
Not being rude don't worry! I've just been a bit busy that's all! The joints I use? I used a few different ones actually. I'll explain the parts using the parts labels LDD uses. For connecting the arms, its a crossaxle 3m with knob connecting into a technic brick 1x1, and for connecting the legs its a plate 1x1 on top of Brawl and Swindle's heads connecting into a hole on the bottom of Onslaught's legs. The poseable hands are just ball joints, and they hook into 1x1 technic bricks on blast off and vortex. Hope that's what you were looking for!
