So many Batman creations recently! It seems I am not the only one excited for the new film haha:) This is really neat, and steering?!? Incredible! I also like the Darth Maul humour;) Great build!

Steering on a 4-wide? Mind. Blown.

Batman has been called the "Dark Knight" long before the Chris Nolan movies. One of the most famous Batman graphic novels is Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" from 1986. This Batmobile is more the Tim Burton than the Chris Nolan style. In the movie "The Dark Knight Rises" there will be a modified Tumbler with a cannon on top. All the photos and videos show the Tumbler in camouflage colours and there are also photos with Bane sitting on one of them. So maybe, it won't be the "Batmobile" in this movie. There are also photos and videos showing a flying "Batmobile" called "The Bat" and Catwoman riding the Batpod... Can't wait to see the movie...

Since you said this was for the "Dark Knight", I thought, Batmans new Batmobile, as there was his Tumbler and original Batmobile, not the one from the DC Comics, but when it hit the movies. I think... I love how you did the steering tecnique for all 4 wheels! I thought you did something else, but I've forgot what it was!! AARGH! Anyway, is it the new Tumbler?

Patience is a virtue, my dear LEGO friends (I've learned that with my "summer hobby" bonsai). So please wait until I post the final version with the ordered parts. I promise I'll post detailed photos of the axle construction...
