The next part of "The Battle for Middle-Earth". This episode will be split into 3 parts, as it is realllllly long. Bear with me here! :)
About this creation

Lothlorien: A group of the wisest elves and wizards of Middle-earth gather in council.
Saruman- “Are you assured of the reliability of the messenger from Mirkwood, Gandalf?”

Gandalf- “My friend, how many elves have you known that lie outright? Thranduil’s folk are trustworthy. I believe that once again evil has arisen in Dol Guldor. Sauron, the Necromancer.

Saruman, Elrond, Celeborn – “The Necromancer?”
Saruman- “How can you be sure? The Dark Lord was destroyed over a thousand years ago.

Radagast- “Evil grows in southern Mirkwood every day. Rhosgobel has become a haven for animals fleeing from the darkness.

Celeborn- “This is a serious threat. If what you say is true, we should drive out this power before it grows.

Elrond- “We must use caution. If it truly is Sauron, his power may already be great.”

Saruman- “Exactly, Lord Elrond. Either this power does not exist, or it is too powerful for us to defeat.”

Celeborn- “We should gather more information on this threat before we make a move.”

Galadriel- “I called this council for the purpose of addressing this threat. Now we must do something, before it spreads. Soon it may spread to The Wilderland, to the Anduin, and to our very borders. “

Saruman- We must not be hasty. We must gather more information.
Gandalf- I will go, Saruman.

Gandalf-*standing* I do not agree with you, Saruman, but you are the wisest of the Istari, and our leader. I will follow your lead.

Radagast- I will go as well. I will try to ascertain what this power is.

Saruman stands, and turns to walk out.

A flicker of evil passes through his eyes.

In the Iron Hills……..
Drainir Steelhelmet stands watch upon a guard tower of the Iron Hills.

There is not much danger, but watch must be kept. His mind shifts, thinking back over his life……..

Drainir was born to good dwarven parents. His father was a distinguished miner and warrior, and his mother, too, worked in the mines. He grew up with little to trouble him as he learned the ways of the dwarves.

Years later, after a long war between the Dwarves and Goblins, Drainir came to the battle of Azanulbizur with Dain Ironfoot and his dwarves from the Iron Hills.

There, he saved his friend Thorin from a goblin who attempted to stab him in the back.

And they fought, and won, the battle.

Drainir sighed. That had been a sad day. Many dwarves had died.

After the war, Drainir went back to the glorious Lonely Mountain with Thorin. It was full of riches and feasting, and for a while, they had had peace.

But Drainir had also been there on the day the dragon came…….

The day Dale burned, and the Lonely Mountain taken by Smaug the Golden.

Drainir thought of those days.
Drainir- *muttering* “If only those days would come again.”
But, he thought, there was little chance, while the dragon lived. He sighed.
*******************************************************************************
Several years later, in Northern Eriador……….

It is a snowy day in the Dunadan village in the North Downs.

A man rushes home urgently.

He enters his small house.

Ranger-“Are you all right, my love?”
Woman-“Yes. The boy is healthy.
Ranger- “We shall name him, Feren.”

Feren grew…….

And grew….. Into a fine young man. He was strong, and lean , in the manner of the Dunadan.

But he was also a notorious practical joker.

The Rangers attempted to train him, and managed to teach him much.

But he was never the equal of his masters.

His father took him into the forest, and taught him many of the ways of the Rangers.

He grew older, taking part in all the ways of the rangers. He aided Aragorn in the guarding of the Shire, and defended it against many evil brigands.

When he was 67 years old, Aragorn and Halbarad sent him on a mission.
Aragorn- “Go south, and find what is happening in the realm of Rohan. There is something there that worries me.”
Feren-“I will do this!”

Ferens parent bid him goodbye. His father was aging, almost too death.
Ferens father- “Go my son. Take my blessing. We may not meet again, for I am old.”

Ferens father- “And take this sword. I have carried it for many years, but I have no need of it now.”

Feren- “Thank you, father. I will remember you and mother always.”

And he set out.

That's so cool!
Thanks!

By the way I think that the Dwarf and Goblin war was between the dragon and the return to the Lonely Mountain. Great episode anyway!
I'm sorry, you are wrong. The goblins did not take part in the fight with Smaug, the dragon, and the Battle of the Five armies took place after Smaug was dead. The Dwarf and Goblin wars, and the battle of Azanulbizur, on the other hand, was fought far earlier. If you read the appendices of LOTR you will know.
