The Fishmonger
The fishmonger provides all of your LEGO seafood needs. This MOC was inspired by the ReBrick Building Competition which requested creations with an octopus.
About this creation

Quoting Ian Spacek Wow Mr. Merrill, this is great! Highly detailed "clean" (also referred to as "studless") builds are my favorite! It's great to have you on MOCpages and I look forward to seeing more! Max should be dropping by any second too.

Quoting Max Pointner Hey Mr. Merril! Welcome to MOC Pages. This is great! I love the details, especially the floor tile pattern and the frozen fish in the display case. Is the fish on the roof Duplo?
Hi Max, Yes, the fish is Duplo, borrowed from my kids' Giant Zoo. It, along with the seaweed, ended up looking nicer and cleaner than a brick-built rooftop sign, while still conveying the message of what could be found in the store.

Quoting T. Lars Wow, this is really cool with lots of neat little details. I like that the mannequin has something to keep it proped up so it doesn't fall over.
I'm glad you like it. I had a great time cramming in all the details, and ruling out others that were ultimately eliminated due to space issues or lack of continuity with the overall design.
