#540 Swiss Villa revisited
I got the old Swiss Villa set for just 5.-, and I got inspired to make a new version of it.
About this creation
I got this vintage set at a yard sale, and built my own version. I tried to maintain the vintage look of the building.

Front view of the building, added features are: a Swiss flag, a new chimney, a real garden, a swimming pool, and many other small details.

Side view.

The facade: I enlarged the window and the door, and I added the number "1973"(The year the original set came out).

A view on the terrace, now tiled and with furniture, I also used newer fence pieces.

The enlarged space was just big enough to fit a car, so it's a garage now.

Mountain top view: (Normally birds eye view, but mountains are more Swiss :p)

The backside looks like the old version but has some wall detailing and extra windows.

A Swiss woman watering the plants.

Her husband is watching her from the pool. You can read the lazyness from his fatness...

Terrace close-up.

The chair I used (I have now idea whether this is a new technique).

Chimney with smoke, and the wonderful antenna piece!

A simple interior, and a clone kiddy. Only use of the clone helmet I can think of...

An old army Jeep, now for the groceries.

Fourth Brick Commentary:
This is just a side build, and will not be displayed in Kennemerburg, mostly because it's Swiss and not Dutch. If you like this, I might revisit some other vintage sets I like. I hope you like my additions to the set. If you do, please comment!

Well done, this is really cool. I've had the idea myself to build some "modernized" versions of classic sets like this, you've done a very good job on this one ...and that chair is really neat.

This is awesome. The pool looks like a hot tub because of all the clear pieces mixed with the blue. Great build ;)
