After roughly 1.5 years, Helios (My Self Moc) is finally finished! He had some rough spots, but now he is the best that he can be. I tried to incorporate many styles into him to achieve the best look possible. Those Knight Kingdom and Hero Factory armor pieces are pretty useful.
About this creation
Name: Helios Hanou of Yataris
Mask: Kanohi Hau, Mask of Shielding, and Yalden, Helmet of Wind
Bio: Helios was a matoran that lived on planet Yataris. He was one of six matoran picked to be presented a toa stone by Turaga Kigan. These six matoran became the Toa Hanou. Helios was on a mission, and he got seperated from his team. He wandered into a different dimension, and was granted greater powers. The dimension he traveled to was Wynderhel, a dimension full of demons and other twisted creatures. In Wynderhel, he killed Lord Helix, who was enslaving demons for his own bidding. Then Helinaria, the goddess of water from the planet Cryselia, sought him out to ask him to join her organization, the Siblings of Helinara. After the assassination and reincarnation of Helinaria, Helios decided to seek out the Dark, and kill every one of their members. Along the way, he finds a mysterious helmet in the Lost Desert that almost seems alive… It is called the Yalden.
Status: Searching for members of the Dark, and collecting information about them.
Weapons: Aldrone Sword, Chained Holy Blades, Assasin Claws
Powers: Creating blasts or beams of plasma, Using plasma to melt or incinerate a target, controlling plasma, absorbing plasma, Unleashing a plasma Nova Blast
Mask Powers: The Kanohi Hau is the Mask of Shielding. It allows its user to protect themselves from any physical attack that they are aware of by throwing up a force shield. The only difference between the Great and Noble versions is that the Great version forms a stronger and longer-lasting shield than the Noble one.
The Yalden is the Helmet of Wind. It allows the user control of wind, and the ability to create wind.
His arm. The tubing is supposed to look like veins.
Yalden, Helmet of Wind. I just bought Black Phantom, and his pieces are very useful. I am planning to build a black moc next.
The Helmet is supposed to look alive.
New chest, HF armor is useful
The legs have a new design, they are supposed to look animal-like, and are designed for him to run faster.
Improved torso. Now with heartlight and ribcage.
His new feet.
Upper legs
His Aldrone Sword
Hand design
Pose
Chained Holy Blades
Assassin Claws
With his Helmet off.

I agree with the guy a couple down. Bionicles usually look too skinny, flimsy, and empty to me, but you have managed to pull off a decent, filled-out look. I would have liked to see him in some more poses, though. Oh, and congrats on MOTD!

For starters, I totally love this! That helmet is simply inspired! Now, I haven't ever made a titanic Bionicle MOC, so I don't know the limits they have. With such an epic design I really expected some epic poses, too. Can he do some leg action to strike an awesome pose, or does he have an Achille's heel in that department? |

PERFECT helmet, and i like that you finally integrated the pistons, but it looks like you sacfificed all poseability for badarse looks. Dont get me wrong, the use of greebles is masterful, and the feet are wicked, but it needs poseability. I dont think you should commit to a final version, because i always love to see new versions of helios from you ;) |

I thought you can't be better and then you came with this. The torso, the arms, the legs... I love those feet using KK's leg armor, but my favourite part is that AWESOME helmet. I'm very surprised of how you use Arachnix, it's a great idea! |

i've been staring this page for about 10 minutes trying to find some flaws i can critic, with no avail, you've done a wonderfully great job, i really love the way you combine the gold an silver, and also the idea of giving another silver helmet on top of the hau is genius,the torso, limbs, all looks cool, awesome job :D
btw you do upload a lot of pic there, it takes me a while for the page to load :P |

This is one of the rare occasions on which I add someone to my favorite builders list after seeing only one MOC. This is a truly amazing creation, the weapon storage is brilliant, the color sceme is perfect, and the overall form is amazing. One of the best MOCs I've seen in a loooong time. 5/5 |

Brilliant fantasicaly brilliant! You sir have just set a new bar of Bio moccing. The legs are my favorite part and that helmet is just splendid . The moc in general has just evolved immensely and probably underwent the most modifications than any Self Moc on Mocpages. The colour scheme is great and the weapons work well. This is absolutely splendid! ^.^ |

Now that is some seriously awesome parts usage. Almost inclined to use some aspects in future mocs, credited of course. Given the complexity of the legs, I too am interested about the level of poseability in them. |

Now, this is awesone. Great build, and impressive deisgn! The balacne here is great, with just the right amout of greebles and cleaness, and a good flow of colors. The helmet is really cool, but the highlight must be the legs, their mechanic design is amazing. My ONLY nitpicking would be those red balljoints, wich kinda clash with the color scheme, and that trans bohrok eye, with look kinda unecesary (a gold one could work better), but thats it. Great MOC here! This new style of yours works much better than the older one. |

Wow, now this is the type of Helios I've always hoped you'd get to, and thankfully you did! :D And I'm so surprised how you've turned a color scheme I've always hated(gold/silver) but made it look spectacular! This guy definitely proves your worth as a Bionicle Mocist, well done! |
