The detailed throne room of a palace. A red carpet with blue and yellow borders leads to the king's throne.

About this creation

Another view of the carpet and throne. Here one can tell that the floor is completely SNOTted.

A front view. This palace rests on a 32x32 tan base.

Side view. As the baseplates are tan, I had to pile a lot of green bricks and plates on.

Rear view. At this point, I ran out of green bricks, so I got creative with some plant elements.

Another Side View. Notice the change in elevation. This was done when I ran out of green plates.

Great job! I like many interesting details: windows, columns, decorations..., only the throne could be more ornate.

Very creative! The SNOT(Studs Not On Top) work is nice! I like your idea with the carpet, too! And there is another way to make a stained glass window. You can stack a bunch of translucent cheese slopes together, and it looks REALLY good. :) And I hate it when I run out of bricks... Maybe you should find some good sets with the pieces you need. Or order some pieces online! And again, great build!

It is not as much of a king's throne as it is a high-ranking official - the king would have it just a little more detailed, not just interestingly shaped.
