About this creation

When I turn the knob left the wheels turn right

Some pictures of how its set up

So here's the problem I am making a brand new car with steering but the problem is that when I use the knob to steer it steers the opposite of what I turn the knob. Could some tell me why this is and how it could be fixed? Thanks Alex

The guys below are correct; an even number of gears changes the direction of the wheels, whilst an odd number keeps them turning the same way. BUT, there's another way to solve it - just move the steering rack to in front of the front wheels. This reverses the direction of the steering. Hope it helps. No rating as this isn't a finished MOC.

Quoting Halhi 141 Just another thing I noticed: the wheels are far too small for a fourteen wide car. If possible, use wheels like those in the flatbed truck or container truck. If you don't, try to eliminate those bushings on the steering axles as the bushings will cause the fenders to have to be very large.
I have wheels from the container truck but I don't have any extra so...

you will need another gear on the other two in the back kine-ct to the wheels nice base

It is steering this way because of the two sixteen tooth gears in the back. Either remove them or add a third gear.

it the two gears in the back the gears make it turn opposite you need to add another gear
