About this creation

The MK. 9 is the ultimate in infantry protection and muscle enhancement. Thanks to its impact resistant gel layer between the artificial muscles and the outer shell of the armor it is extremely impact resistant. It can be hit by anything from a 40mm grenade to .50 caliber machine gun no standard round or explosive can breach the armors outer shell. In total the suit weighs nearly 500lbs but it enable the soldier inside to be able to lift up to 800lbs. The suit can carry any standard weapon used by infantry men but it specializes in heavy weapons such as the .30 cal Mini-gun and the Combustion Flamethrower. Each weapon weighs enough to either have to be mounted on a tripod by 2-3 soldiers or mounted on a vehicle for use.

Additional Notes:

The mk. 5 was my original build that I wasn't completely satisfied with because of the lack of chest detail so I decided to rebuild it but kept the arms and legs.

Quoting Zach Jones this is the first hardsuit I have seen with a complete minifig inside, A+ for that part. Now to see what you could do with light tanks, bet that would be impresive.

Yea understandable that heavy troopers carry armor piercing over the lighter power armor wearers

Very true but not every soldier carries armor piercing rounds with them
