Well continuing on with my selfmocs here is Callan. My original Callan was very well received by the public but was dismantled long ago for pieces. In between that Callan and this version I had another Callan that was never posted and eventually became this. All I kept was the lower legs but everything else is different. I didn't like the middle Callan i build because he was far to thin. I decided to push outside my comfort zone a little here and go for a much bulkier moc. This resulted in one of my all time favourite torso designs and what I believe to be a pretty good moc. Enjoy!

Well here is Callan in all his might. I had a bit of trouble with the lighting on these photos so be warned.

Feet. I really like this recolour.

Legs.

A better view. Nice bulky and complex the use a mistika jet which I find kinda neat.

Upper legs. I really like these. Thank you bricklink for the skrall armour.

Waist.

The torso i'm so proud of.

I just love how well it fits with no holes or gaps and still manages to keep that bohrok shield in.

Another major improvement. The addition of both Takanuva masks.

Lower arms. What I consider a nice use of hero factory to create a really smooth effect.

The epic fire sword. I tried to copy the original's but it seems he has changed it since I last looked.

Notes:

Overall this was a really fun build. I enjoyed working on the custom head and the overall look of this moc is one of my favourites. I'm on vacation now so posting frequency should increase. I hope I make it to the next round of the Bio Cup. If I make it my next post will most likely be that. If not look out for Cossy Coming soon!

AWESOME! I love it! My only complaint is that the waist is too skinny compared to the upper torso. Other than that, this is the best version of Callan I've seen yet! (except maybe the origional :P)

This is a pretty cool creation, I liked mostly his torso and shoulder design most! The arms look a bit long, but I like the fist-look of his hands! I would probably try to make the waist more armored, it looks a bit thin. But other than that, great creation!

This guy is just awesome, great work! You really did the famous Callan justice. Only thing I don't like are those spikes on his feet, they look rather awkward there.

The torso is amazing, no question. The arms are good, but a little thin near the elbows, and the legs could be a bit longer. But I really like how he turned out all in all! The head is also really nice, Keep it up =)

You should either expirement in ways to fill in around the joint (tires are soooo overused) or just stop always using a flexible torso, as it's not a necessity! I hope you use this advice, i feel you could make your already awesome mocs near pergect by fixing a single flaw!

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to use a non flexible torso on one of my next mocs!

Not your best. I feel there are gaps that could be filled and I don't really like the lower legs at all, but overall he's not that bad. The torso does look epic.
